In April 2004, in support of its long term goal, Prime became part of the 2e2 group of companies. The group currently has over 1200 employees and £148m annual runrate revenues. 2e2’s mission is to become a major IT Services partner in the UK and the Netherlands and to achieve revenues of £500m by 2009. Prime is now in a position to leverage the increased capability and financial strength of the group as they seek to develop the business.
Prime is the conspicuous success story in the IT services market and has achieved annual growth in excess of 60% with 2005 revenues of over £42m. Turnover this year is projected to exceed £48m. Prime employs over 200 people; the majority of these are based in the south east of England in London and Newbury. Prime maintains regional offices in London and Burton. Coupled with its Newbury HQ, it delivers solutions throughout the UK and worldwide through its global partner network.
Prime’s core business is the design, implementation and support of holistic voice & data infrastructures that provide increased competitive advantage. Prime’s solutions are provided through six focused lines of business (LOB), each managed by a senior industry figure. These are: Infrastructure, IP Communications, Interactive Media, Information Delivery, Security and Support Services. This structure enables Prime to provide the technical expertise required by each specific discipline whilst not loosing site of the inter dependencies and the ‘bigger picture’.
